Sino-German Summer School: Material-Oriented Micro/Nano Manufacturing at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany
The 1st Sino-German Summer School “Material-Oriented Micro/Nano Manu¬facturing” will be held in Bochum, Germany in conjunction with a Sino-German Symposium on the same topic. The summer school will provide high-quality courses in the area of micro/nano manufacturing tech¬niques for doctorate candidates or young investigators from China and Germany.

After following the fundamental lectures, the participants of the summer school attend the presentations of the Sino-German Symposium, where they also present their own research work in poster sessions. Thus, the participants of the summer school will have in-depth discussions with leading experts in the field. Furthermore, it is planned to initiate teamwork-based Focus Groups among the participants with independent studies of selected topics. Each group is supervised by a lecturer of the summer school and prepares 15-minute seminar talks, to be given on the last day of the summer school.
